What are Giclee Prints?

How we produce our prints.
Until recently most fine art printing
used the Offset Litho method, with print
runs of several hundred copies needed
to justify material costs and set up
times.

Over the last few years it has become
more and more common for fine art prints
to be produced using the Giclee method.

We produce our Giclee prints using a wide format
Epson digital inkjet printer which can
produce images up to A1 in size.
We use Epson Ultrachrome inks that are tested
to be lightfast (fade resistant) for over
seventy years.
We print on Epson or Somerset Velvet watercolour
paper and,as we print to order, each print is
checked for colour consistency.

Prints are posted, rolled in acid free tissue
paper,in a strong cardboard tube.
